Technical Canyoneering, Waterholes Canyon, Near Page Arizona

Eight of us went for a technical canyoneering trip through Waterholes Canyon near Page, Arizona. There were 10 rappels with the longest being a 3 stage 420 foot rappel. We saw the scratchings on the walls of the canyons from the Swedish National hiker that got injured and trapped in the canyon for three days. This happened just a week or so before we went through there. We exited the canyon by inflating Explorer 200 rafts and paddling the 4 miles in the dark to Lees Ferry.
