Stinky Hiking Gear

So your hydration pack is beginning to get very ripe. You wash it but it still stinks as soon as you use it again. You put odor eaters into your boots, but the stink is too powerful. What do you do?

I have a remedy for this putrid problem…bleach. Fill your tub enough to cover the rancid item, add about a 1/2 cup of bleach and let soak for a few hours. Allow the item to dry.

It should keep it smelling fresh a lot longer than washing alone.
