Our team is made up of outdoor adventure junkies. We decided after years of using the equipment that we should sell it because we know what we are talking about. The owners of Shadow Cat Adventures have been canyoneering, hiking, climbing, backpacking (both traditional and ultralight),kayaking, skiing and snowboarding for years. Many of our products have been through the slot canyons of Upper Arizona and Southern Utah or summited Mount Whitney or backpacked the 200 plus miles of the John Muir Trail. If we try a product and we do not like it or it does not perform like it was intended to then we will not endorse it. Please contact customer support for returns at Customer Service

We will accept most products as a return within 30 days from the date of purchase unused with original tags or packaging. In order to protect all of our customers, we do not accept food, ropes, carabiners and other technical gear for refund or exchange.

Create an Account
When you checkout you will be asked to create an account. This allow you to come back and check your order information and tracking number. Also, every customer earns reward points with every purchase so by creating an account your reward points are able to be tracked. We do not sell your information and the only use for the account is to communicate about your order and track rewards.

When will my order ship?
We process orders Monday through Friday. We do not process or ship orders on weekends or holidays. We get most orders out the same or next day. Please add as an acceptable email address with your Email account as you will be emailed your tracking number! Please allow 7-14 business days for orders to arrive. If we have a problem getting your product in stock we will notify you by email or phone.

Shadow Cat Adventures will ship your order the quickest and least expensive way possible unless otherwise specified. Orders of $75 are eligible for free shipping. All in-stock orders are shipped within 24-48 hrs. If an item is out of stock and is not expected within 48 hours, we will email you and give you a projected ship date. Please make sure you provide a correct shipping and email address on your order. UPS charges $15.00 for incorrect or misspelled shipping information. This will be charged to the customer’s credit card.

UPS does not deliver on Saturday or Sunday.

Incorrect Shipping Information
If you incorrectly input your address, forget to add your suite or apartment number, input your zip code incorrectly, you will be charged $15.00. No questions asked! UPS charges this fee to send it back or to intercept your package when they can not find your shipping destination. If you want your order re-shipped it will be the original shipping cost of your order plus the $15.00. If you want to cancel the order, your credit will be minus the $15.00 fee, 20% re-stock fee and minus the shipping cost. So please double and triple check your address after you input it. We do not want to charge these fee’s to you.

Domestic Shipping
All domestic orders are shipped via UPS, USPS or FedEx. This service takes 2-7 business days depending on what part of the country you are in. The rate is automatically calculated based on the weight of your products.

We will not expedite heavy shipments and we will call you about your rate if your order is an excessive rate!

International Shipping
We do not ship international.

Do I get a tracking number from UPS?

Yes! When we process your order, you get a tracking number emailed to you.


All orders are photographed with a digital camera and tripled check for accuracy. All shortages are to be reported within 24 hours of receipt. Please keep the original carton. Please report all damages within 24 hours so we may file claim with shipper. Email us at Be certain to state your order #.

Canceling Orders

Orders can be canceled before they are shipped for a 10% processing fee. Orders that have been shipped can not be canceled and must be returned by the customer for a 20% restocking fee.
