Comments about REI Traverse Trekking Poles – Pair:
I lost one of my previous trekking poles. So on the way to hike the Grand Canyon, Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim (Distance: 44.5 miles, Elevation Gain: 10,000 ft, Time: 14:53) I bought this pair of REI trekking poles. They were great! Vibration was minimal, weight was good and I didn’t develop any blisters on my hands despite using them for 14+ hours straight and I wasn’t wearing gloves. My only complaint was that the lowest locking mechanism really needed to be cranked down to stay tight. I also like that the baskets were optional since I find them along the trail all the time.
