Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area may be know worldwide for its amazing climbing, but it also has some pretty killer canyons. We went up Memorial Weekend and went through two canyons. One of them, the Maze, has 18 rappels, lots of swims and an easy exit. It does require a car shuttle. The other one had a miserable three hour straight up approach and we nicknamed it the Flesh Grater, Chicken Breast, Crackoneering and a host of other names. All the names referred to the loss of skin we received from the tight slot upper section.
